Asho Productions has now taken Cimafunk all across the US, tearing it up with their funk/reguetón/timba fusion and James Brown-inspired dancing. Here's Tom Ehrlich's report from the Oakland show.
Cimafunk Comes to Oakland - May 2nd
Everyone's getting excited about a new band from Havana called Cimafunk. Could a mixture of funk and timba be the next "named genre"?
