D. Lozada Rehearsal
Danny Lozada, former lead singer of Charanga Habanera and one of the most dynamic singers, band leaders and composers I have ever seen, came to Oakland, California for a performance at Yoshi's Oakland on November 25, 2009. What follows are some photos of one of the rehearsals Danny and his group had on November 24, 2009. I will be posting photos of the concert shortly.
The group consisted of: Danny Lozada - lead singer, Haifa Arango - coros, Omar Ledezma - coros and percussion, Gustavo Ramírez - piano, Carlos Caro - congas, Patricio Angulo - timbales, Colin Douglas - drum set, Yanill Nario - bass, Roberto Morris - trumpet, Julius Meléndez - trumpet and Coto Pincheira - keyboard.
