CORRECTION:

Revé & Charanga CANCELLED only in SF

Alll right - this is getting really ridiculous, but I do have some tentative good news for a change. It turns out that only the San Francisco parts of the Revé and Charanga Habana tours have been cancelled/

Currently Confirmed Charanga Habanera dates

Currently Confirmed Revé dates

ADDITIONALLY:

Sportsmen's Lodge in Los Angeles is advertising Charanga Habanera for May 7

From this point I will only report concerts in the United States as being "advertised".

solamente los shows de SF

la gira de la chanranga va en difinimitvo. esto aplica para unos shows de San Francisco solamente.

More advice

Don't start selling tickets until you know for sure that the band is coming i.e. confirmed and visis in order. There have been several occasions in Stockholm where the band hasn't come and even though people get their money back 1) it's a pain for both the fans and the promoters and 2) in Stockholm now many fans buy tickets at the door because they don't want to risk buying tickets for a show and then having to get their money back.

It would be good practice for the ticket sakes to be pending the complete verification of the concert so people know that when the ticket sales starts it's now definite and they can count on the concert happening.

Of course advertising can begin in advance but even here I'd recommend internet ads to say "visas pending" until they come through. I think transparency is the best choice when it comes to communication with the fans.
