ENGLISH: Today is Mother's Day in many countries around the world, including Cuba and the US, and Aisar y El Expresso de Cuba have created a beautiful video for the song "A mi madre" for the upcoming album "A Toda Marcha". They asked fans and bandmembers to contribute pictures of their mothers and the response was tremendous. The video has been uploaded to the band's official YouTube channel.

"A Toda Marcha" contains eleven songs and one bonus track, "Quince años y seguimos pega'o" for the 15th anniversary of Piso 6. Other videos that have already been released are "El Camarón", a vallenato, and "Un Pastel". Happy Mother's Day from Timba.com!

Follow Calle Real at Facebook to keep up on all the latest news

ENGLISH: We have all been missing the summer concerts and festivals that were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tonight we can get a timba fix as Calle Real will be transmitting a live concert in HD from Vasa Theater in Stockholm via the website Abundo! The concert will start at 9:00 pm Central European Time, that's 3:00 pm in Miami, and will run 60 minutes! For many fans this will be the first opportunity you have to see them perform their new hit "La Cenicienta" live! To watch the concert, follow this link where you easily create a profile and can then pay with all major credit cards. The concert costs 75 SEK (about $7.50 or €7.00) and you use the same link to watch the concert tonight.

There has been a lot of talk about how music and other performances that rely on live audiences will suffer long-term consequences from the current pandemic. The service offered by Abundo seems to be an interesting way of getting around this, offering fans a chance to enjoy a live concert and other events and giving bands and artists a chance to earn at least some income until the social distancing rules are no longer necessary. Of course, we all want to get back to being there in person with the bands, but for now I think this is a brilliant solution that allows us to enjoy the music we love and give a little back to the artists while remaining safe! ENGLISH: The new single "Vengo del Monte" by Yasser Ramos y El Tumbao Mayombe premiered a couple of hours ago at YouTube. Check it out! It will be available in a few days at digital streaming sites and retailers. The arrangement is by bassist Yulian Eire (currently with Elito Revé y Su Charangón) who wrote a number of arrangements on both "Ni Antes, Ni Después" and "La Resistencia". What can I say except this is another hit by Yasser and his equipo. I am always impressed at the quality of work these young musicians are putting out. If the dance clubs were open, "Vengo del Monte" would be on all the DJ's playlists. For now, we can enjoy it at home and on the DJ streaming shows. Expect to be hearing more soon from Yasser's upcoming album "Atando Cabos" on the Amboss Media label. It will consist of an intro and eleven songs and should be released in December this year.

ESPAÑOL: El nuevo sencillo "Vengo del Monte" de Yasser Ramos y El Tumbao Mayombe se estrenó hace un par de horas en YouTube. ¡Echale un vistazo! Estará disponible en unos días en minoristas digitales y sitios de transmisión.
