The medium-slow and melodic "Amor de Subasta" is probably the album's most traditional track and seems almost shockingly tame after "Nube Pasajera". It's the first and most subtle of several songs dealing with one of the album's recurring lyrical themes -- love versus money -- an age old problem which had suddenly become relevant in 1990's Cuba.
