Mezcla, which has been on tour in the Midwestern United States (including the World Music Festivals in Millennium Park in Chicago and Madison, Wisconsin) and a few engagements in Washington state, returns to the Bay Area for two nights:  Yoshi's in Oakland on Wednesday, October 1, and the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz on Thursday, October 2. .Here's a clip from their 2013 performance at Yoshi's Oakland:

The Harold López-Nussa Trio continues its US Tour on the  East Coast.  On October 1, they performed at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, which posts videos of its performances on its website.   You can watch that concert here, and you can see the rest of the tour itinerary here. Catch them live if you can - their performances are electric.
